Monitoring the maturity of Ahmeur Bouamer Autochtonous variety and determining of the optimum harvest date

Morphological ampelography characteristics, technological, phenolic and tannic maturities were studied over four seasons (from 2009 to 2012) of Ahmeur Bouamer autochtonous Algerian variety. During the harvests, Bouamer's cluster has showed a high quality morphological parameters (weight, size, number seeds/ berries per cluster).The weight was proportional size which moderately compact, thus avoiding deformation bursting berries. As For maturity index (MI), grape recorded values ranging from 31.07 54.95 for seasons; would make it possible consider that harvest be excellent (when 30 <MI <50). well as total anthocyanin potential (TAP) exceeding 1000 mg / L polyphenol (TPI) with greater than 50, these confirm presents level maturity. The monitoring MI every week in phase ripening (september-october) 2010 2011 have maximum ripeness reached on September 27th highest both date can considered by winemaker optimal harvest.
